Sensory Splash

Sensory Splash is designed for individuals with special needs and their families to visit The Wave in a calm, sensory-friendly environment. Offered on the second Sunday of the month from October through April, Sensory Splash will take place in the Natatorium, our indoor pool. The music will be turned off, and whistles will only be used by lifeguards in emergencies. Sensory-friendly toys and a designated quiet space will be provided. We aim to help our friends with special needs and their families enjoy recreational swimming in a calm environment. Please visit dublinrecguide.com to reserve your spot. Sensory Splash will take place on the following Sunday afternoons:

*Price: $6 per participant 

*caregivers must also pay admissions fee

Online pre-registration is highly recommended, as participation will be limited. Each sensory-sensitive participant must have a caregiver within arm's reach in the water at all times. Register here.

Please note, Sensory Splash is specifically designed for those with sensory sensitivities. To ensure a comfortable experience for all, we kindly request that additional people or children without sensory-specific needs do not accompany participants during sessions (aside from the caregiver who is required to be in the water with the sensory-sensitive participant). This policy helps us maintain a sensory-friendly environment and respect the needs of all attendees.
